HOW IT WORKS
Neurotoxins are injected in small amounts just beneath the skin using a very fine needle. Once placed, they temporarily block the nerve signals that cause targeted facial muscles to contract, softening the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and helping prevent lines from deepening over time. Most appointments take 15 to 30 minutes, with little to no downtime. Many clients return to their daily routine immediately after their appointment.

Results may begin to appear within several days and continue developing over approximately two to four weeks. Results typically last approximately three to four months. Individual results may vary.
Daxxify®
Daxxify® is a fast-acting, longer-lasting neurotoxin formulated with a proprietary peptide stabilizer. FDA-approved to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, Daxxify® is an excellent option for patients who want longer-lasting results and more time between appointments. Results may begin to appear within one to two days and continue developing over the following weeks. Results last approximately six months, with some patients experiencing results for up to nine months.
Jeuveau®
Jeuveau® is a modern neurotoxin created specifically for aesthetic use. FDA-approved to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows, Jeuveau® offers a precise approach to smoothing dynamic lines while maintaining natural-looking expression. Results may begin to appear within approximately two days and continue developing over the following one to two weeks. Results typically last approximately three to four months.

What is the downtime?
Treatment requires minimal downtime, so you can return to your daily routine immediately after leaving our office.
When will I see results?
Results generally begin to appear within one to five days, peak between one and four weeks, and gradually fade after several months, depending on the product used.
How long do results last?
Duration depends on the neurotoxin used. Botox® and Jeuveau® typically last three to four months. Daxxify® commonly lasts approximately six months, with some patients experiencing results for up to nine months.
How does the medication actually work?
Neurotoxins temporarily block the chemical signals that cause targeted facial muscles to contract. As muscle activity decreases, the skin above the treated area appears smoother. Muscle strength gradually returns as the nerves regenerate.
Does it hurt?
The treatment is performed using an ultra-fine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort during administration. Patients may experience a brief pinching or stinging sensation at the injection site, but the procedure is generally well tolerated.
Will my face look undone or unnatural?

What's the difference between Botox®, Daxxify®, and Jeuveau®?
All three are FDA-approved neurotoxins that temporarily reduce muscle activity to soften expression lines. Botox® is the original, most established option, trusted for its predictable results across multiple treatment areas. Daxxify® is a newer neurotoxin that may last longer, up to six months or more for some patients. Jeuveau®, sometimes called “Newtox,” was developed specifically for aesthetic use. Your provider will recommend which is right for you during a consultation.
I'm pregnant or breastfeeding. Can I be treated?
Neurotoxin injections should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
PRE-TREATMENT GUIDELINES
- Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks before a special event, as redness or bruising may be visible during that time.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, high-sodium foods, high-sugar foods, spicy foods, and cigarettes 24 to 48 hours before treatment.
- Let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores. An antiviral may be prescribed.
- You may not have an active rash in the treatment area.
- You may not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
POST-TREATMENT GUIDELINES
- Mild redness or sensitivity may be present for a few hours.
- Do not manipulate the treated area for 4 hours.
- Do not wear a hat for 4 hours.
- Do not lie flat for 4 hours.
- Exercise should be avoided for 24 hours
- Avoid straining and heavy lifting.
- Wait at least 2 weeks before other facial treatments such as facials, massages, lasers, or microdermabrasion.
