HOW IT WORKS
Dermal filler is injected beneath the skin to add volume, smooth lines, or enhance facial contours. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment for comfort, and most hyaluronic acid fillers also contain lidocaine to further minimize discomfort. Most appointments take around an hour, and results are generally visible immediately with minimal downtime.

Juvéderm®
A versatile collection of smooth hyaluronic acid gels used to restore volume, enhance contours, soften lines, and add definition. Depending on the formula, Juvéderm® may be used to treat the cheeks, chin, jawline, lips, temples, undereye hollows, and smile lines. Results are typically visible immediately and may last approximately six months to two years, depending on the product and treatment area.
RHA®
The RHA® Collection is Resilient Hyaluronic Acid designed to stretch and adapt with your facial expressions. This makes it especially well-suited for expressive areas of the face, including nasolabial folds, marionette lines, perioral lines, and other dynamic wrinkles and folds. Results are typically visible immediately and, depending on the formula, may last up to approximately 15 months.
Evolysse™
A new generation of hyaluronic acid fillers created using proprietary Cold-X™ Technology, designed to preserve the natural structure of hyaluronic acid and produce a smooth, cohesive gel. Evolysse™ Smooth and Evolysse™ may be used to treat the cheeks, chin, jawline, lips, and smile lines. Clinical studies evaluated results for up to 12 months.

FAQ’s
What is the downtime?
It is common to notice redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness immediately after treatment, but this shouldn’t prevent you from returning to work. We recommend scheduling injections around your work schedule if you are concerned about the social downtime.
When will I see results?
Results are typically visible immediately after treatment, although temporary swelling may affect the final appearance during the first several days.
How long do results last?
This depends on the product used, the area injected, and how your body metabolizes the filler. In general, results may last anywhere from six months to over a year, with some formulas lasting up to two years.
Does it hurt?
A topical numbing cream may be applied before treatment to reduce discomfort. Most Juvéderm®, RHA®, and Evolysse™ fillers also contain lidocaine, which further minimizes discomfort during injection.
Will my face look undone or unnatural?
When injected in appropriate amounts by a qualified and experienced provider, dermal filler can be used to restore volume, improve facial proportions, and enhance existing features while maintaining a natural appearance. At Evita Med Spa, our goal is to achieve balanced, harmonious results that complement each patient’s individual facial anatomy.
I'm pregnant or breastfeeding. Can I be treated with filler injections?
Filler injections should not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
PRE-TREATMENT GUIDELINES
- Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks before a special event, as redness, swelling, or bruising may be visible during that time.
- Avoid dental procedures for 2-4 weeks prior to treatment.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, high-sodium foods, high-sugar foods, spicy foods, and cigarettes 24 to 48 hours before treatment.
- Let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores.
- You may not have an active rash in the treatment area.
- You may not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
POST-TREATMENT GUIDELINES
- Mild redness, sensitivity, tenderness, bruising, and swelling may be present for a few hours to a few days.
- Avoid massaging or significantly moving the treated area unless instructed by your provider.
- Avoid makeup for 12 hours and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid extensive sun or heat exposure for 72 hours.
- If swelling is present, apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour as directed by your provider.
- Sleep face-up and slightly elevated to help reduce swelling.
- Postpone any dental procedures for at least 2 weeks after treatment.
- Wait at least 2 weeks before other facial treatments such as facials, massages, lasers, or microdermabrasion.
